This is my newest favorite addition to the supply list at my barn.  I have just finished reading Temple Grandin’s book which talks about boredom and other various traits in animals.  I thought it was time to offer some “play” activity for my alpacas.  They spend hours rubbing their gums on the pole fencing making frothy messes on their mouths.  Could that be “boredom”?  Well, I threw this into the field.  I won’t say they ran to play with it.  But it did make them very perky.  SO... I now have a GREAT tool to use when I want to take photos and need to see those ears up.  Just throw the ball into the corral and get ready to point and shoot.
